September 2023 Bronze Ellipsoid — FBI Composite Sketch + 302 Interviews

Most evidentially structured single case in PURSUE Release 01. Multi-witness FBI investigation of an apparent ellipsoid bronze metallic object that "materialized out of a bright light in the sky" at a US test site in September 2023. Object size: 130-195 feet in length.

Summary

Most evidentially structured single case in PURSUE Release 01. Multi-witness FBI investigation of an apparent ellipsoid bronze metallic object that “materialized out of a bright light in the sky” at a US test site in September 2023. Object size: 130-195 feet in length. Object disappeared instantaneously. FBI Lab produced a composite sketch overlay on a real site photograph. Three 302-form interview reports (two US citizens, one named USPER) corroborate.

The release contains:

  • FBI Composite Sketch (2024-04-30): real site photo with FBI Lab graphic overlay rendering the object based on corroborating eyewitness accounts.
  • Serial 3 (FBI 302): US citizen describes object “metallic bronze in color.”
  • Serial 4 (FBI 302): US citizen describes object “metallic/gray in color.”
  • Serial 5 (FBI 302): US citizen describes “bright light over the horizon.”

Verbatim AARO Description (Composite Sketch)

“Actual site photo with FBI Lab rendered graphic overlay depicting corroborating eyewitness reports from September 2023 of an apparent ellipsoid bronze metallic object materializing out of a bright light in the sky, 130-195 feet in length, and disappearing instantaneously.”

Why This Case Is Underrated

  1. Most PURSUE items are single-witness or single-sensor. This case has at least three independent eyewitness statements, all formalized as FBI 302s.
  2. The FBI Lab produced an actual graphic overlay on the real photograph. That is a non-trivial evidentiary artifact most cases lack.
  3. Specific object dimensions: 130-195 feet long. That’s the rough length of a Boeing 737 (110 ft) to a Boeing 757 (155 ft) to a Boeing 767 (180 ft). Eyewitness convergence on a precise size band is rare.
  4. “Materializing out of a bright light … disappearing instantaneously” rules out conventional aircraft kinematics. That’s the kind of phenomenon the AARO process is designed to investigate.
  5. Despite all of the above, the case has near-zero breakout coverage. Most stories are reading the football and Eye-of-Sauron items.

Cross-Reference

The “USPER Statement” in this same release describes a senior US intelligence official’s first-hand account at a US military facility, with super-hot orbs and helicopter pursuit. Its release alongside the Bronze Ellipsoid (also a US-test-site case, also late 2023 / late 2025) suggests a linked western US testing-grounds context worth tracking.

The FBI Photo B-series (24 monochrome stills, late 2025, “Western United States”) may be the sensor-platform record of related encounters.

What Would Move The Needle

  • AARO publishing the full FBI 302 transcripts (the released versions are redacted).
  • Identification of which “US test site” — Tonopah / Groom Lake / White Sands / Dugway are the obvious candidates.
  • Sensor data (radar, IR) from any range instrumentation present at the test site that day.

Connections

Open Questions

  • Why isn’t this case the breakout story?
  • What sensor platforms were operating at the test site at the time, and what did they capture?
  • Are the western US 2023 “orbs launching orbs” event and this Bronze Ellipsoid case institutionally linked at AARO?
